Print Design
We get so accustomed to seeing most of today's marketing done via the internet, we sometimes forget about the need for good print design. It's still a very important medium. While the dream of a "paperless world" seems like a great concept, it will likely never happen. Thankfully, we're using recycled materials more and more. All that being said, I feel that good print design is a very important part of today's culture and it can still be very inspiring. I've been doing print design for over fifteen years. I do so much web design, I find print design a nice change of pace. From simple brochures and catalogs, to complete package designs, I've pretty much done it all. Check out some of my best print design pieces below:
Package Designs:
Eos Wireless Core System
This is the package design I did for the Eos Wireless Core system. On the front, I wanted to quickly show that it is a multi-room system and that the included remote speaker plugs right into an ordinary wall socket.
Eos Wireless Core System (Back)
This is the back of the Eos Wireless Core system package. The back panel shows all of the different features and specifications of the base station and remote speaker.
Eos Wireless Remote Speaker
This is the package design I did for the Eos Wireless Core system. Similar to the Core System design, I wanted to quickly show that it is a multi-room speaker and that the included remote speaker plugs right into an ordinary wall socket.

Eos Wireless Core System
"Costco Bundle"
This is the package design I did for the Eos Wireless Core system. This one is for Costco. Costco sells the Eos Core System with an extra speaker. I was given direction by the president of IntelliTouch.

SBC Cordless DECT Phone
This is the package design I did for the SBC-6020 Cordless DECT Phone. This phone has a very cool looking slim-line design to it, so I wanted to create a simple, yet elegant, package design. This is a very popular seller on the SBC website.

SBC Cordless DECT Phone (Back)
This is the back of the package design I did for the SBC-6020 Cordless DECT Phone. This phone has quite a few features packed into a slim design, so I designed the back panel to show off those features.
SBC Multi-function Speakerphone
This is the package design I did for the SBC-116 Multi-function Speakerphone. Since this phone has a "Talking Caller ID" feature, I used the classic speech bubble to show this on the front panel. That is the #1 selling point of this phone.

Uniden Deluxe Single Line Phone
I designed several package designs for Uniden in Canada (AVS). This is one for the UCIS-135. Like all Uniden Canada projects, this package is in English and French.
Uniden Deluxe Two Line Phone
Here is another package design done for Uniden Canada. This one is for the UCIS-235, which is basically the two-line version of the other design.

On-Hold Plus Family
There are four products in the On-Hold Plus family of on-hold audio players from IntelliTouch. There is the 6000 series and the 7000 series. Within each of those series, there are two models. When designing the packages, I wanted to make them look like a "family" when sitting side-by-side, but still have differences. Click here to see the family.

Brochures & Spec Sheets:
SBC Corded Phone Brochure
This is a tri-fold brochure that was used for the 2007 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas. It featured all of the SBC corded telephone products. The finished folded piece is 8.5" by 11". Click here to download a PDF version.
SBC Cordless Phone Spec Sheet
I designed literally dozens of spec sheets for the SBC brand telephones. Since they all basically look the same, here is just one of them. Click here to download a PDF version.
Verizon Cordless Phone Spec Sheet
For a short period of time, IntelliTouch sold a Verizon branded cordless phone. While the product itself failed, I had a lot of fun creating marketing materials for it. Click here to download a PDF version.

OHP-7500 Spec Sheet
Of course, I designed all the spec sheets for the On-Hold Plus products as well. This is the one I did for the OHP-7500. Click here to download a PDF version.
