Welcome to the Testosterone Zone!

This section of the site is dedicated to play time. I work really hard and put in a lot of hours to accomplish my goals. Hey...my claim to fame of "never missing a deadline in my entire career" comes with a price! However, all work and no play for a person like me could send me to an early grave. Here are some activities that keep my mind off work and give me a little stress release:

Riding my Quad
I own a 2003 Yamaha Raptor 660. I bought it used three years ago when we sold our old house and I had a little extra money. When I was in high school I owned a Honda 250R 3-wheeler and I used to ride a lot. However, when I first met my wife and we moved in together, money was tight and I had to sell my ride. Needless to say, when I asked her if I could buy a quad with that extra money, she happily agreed. I cannot thank her enough for letting me have this part of my life back! I have a lot of fun riding my Raptor, but I ride a lot safer than I used to. I'm not a teenager any more! Although...I still can't resist a good jump when given the opportunity.
Mountain Biking
When I first started working at Binary Jungle, a few of the guys there got me into mountain biking. I found it to be quite enjoyable. It gets me out into nature and gives me great exercize. It didn't take long for me to learn that I'm not a kid any more though. I've had my share of wrecks. The first one, I ripped my knee open on a rock. I have a nasty scar to prove it. I ride a Specialized Hard Rock Uno II. It's a good bike that rides very comfortable.
Being a Star Wars Geek...
Like many kids of the seventies...I saw a movie that changed my life and the way I watch movies. STAR WARS. Being a huge fan and a member of the fan club, I can admit that I am a "Star Wars Geek". Just ask anyone that knows me! I also have been collecting Star Wars collectibles since 1977. My entire home office is plastered with collectibles. I'm running out of space! Driving My 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty
This makes the third Ford vehicle that I've owned since I could drive. It's also, by far, the best! I've been wanting a full size truck for a long time. It may be nice and big, but gets good mileage due to being diesel. It's got a Turbo 6.0 liter V-8 engine with an Automatic TorqueShift transmission. It also has the tow command package. I bought this truck so I could have something that would last and could grow with me. Sometimes I have to tow trailers too. This truck does the job...and does it well. Of course, I installed a kick-ass stereo system in it. She's a sweet ride!
